Ingredients

  • 1 oz mezcal
  • 1 ½ oz Vita Coco Original Coconut Water
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa)
  • 1 oz freshly brewed espresso (cooled)
  • ½ oz light agave syrup
  • Dash of ground cinnamon
  • As Needed - Ice
  • Optional garnish Cinnamon stick, coffee beans, or toasted coconut flakes

How to prepare

  1. Chill the glass. Fill a rocks glass with ice water and set aside while you prepare the drink. 
  2. In a cocktail shaker, add mezcal, coconut water, coffee liqueur, espresso, agave syrup, and a dash of cinnamon. 
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, until well-chilled and frothy. 
  4. Dump the ice water from the rocks glass and dry it. Add fresh ice.  Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass. 
  5. Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top.  Garnish with a cinnamon stick, coffee beans or toasted coconut flakes for extra flair.
